Providence Care, Inc. provides skilled nursing services by registered nurses or licensed nurses under the direction of the supervising nurse. Professional nursing services shall be performed in accordance with the attending physician’s plan of treatment. Our nurses provide restorative and rehabilitative services, assessment, and regular reassessment of the nursing needs of the client throughout the course of care. Our supervising nurses monitor services provided by our Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), all of which are board certified. Registered nurses monitor services provided by our direct care staff or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) on regular basis to ensure that services are delivered according to the individual care plan.
Providence Care, Inc. Skilled Nursing services may include the following:
- Development, implementation, review, and revision of nursing care plan services including treatments, diagnostic, and preventative procedure
- Initiation of preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedure as appropriate for the client’s care and safety
- Observation of physical and emotional signs and provision of nursing services
- Teaching, supervising and counseling of the client and family regarding the nursing care needs and related problems of the client at home
- Supervision and teaching of other nursing service personnel such as personal care and support staff
- Supervision and teaching of other nursing service personnel such as personal care and support staff
- Coordination of total client care
- Notification of physician of client progress
- Wound care with vacuum assisted therapy
- Medication administration, education, and management
- Administering of IV drugs
- Tube feeding via PEG, J-Tube, etc.
- Blood pressure monitoring
- Participation in case conferences, staff meetings, and in-service programs as required by Providence Care Inc.
